I'm so far behind....

in keeping this blog up-do-date, but just wanted to let you know that it was 57 degrees in beautiful downtown Creston, Iowa at 5 p.m. today. Strong wind out of the south. At ten minutest after 8 it is still at 50.

Am so enjoying hugs, smiles, cuddles, and snuggle times with Wesley. No, I definitely am NOT spoiling him. He is walking, and his reach is something else. I have to check and double check where I put things down. He and Benny are getting along. Benny just hides when things get too much. He goes nutz when Wesley squeals with glee at the puppy dog.

Was advocate for Dad again today in front of the administrator, head nurse, and social worker. Prayed that I could give a Godly appeal, and my prayers were answered. In short after I said with a smile, "If I have to come every day to care for Dad, I expect to be put on the payroll or have the monthly amount charged Dad discounted" the Administrator is assigning 2 nurses to oversee Dad's care for the next little while. I expect to be there so that I can see what transpires.

Didn't walk must this week. Larry and I have issues with sleeping. We don't. Not sure what is happening. I read with my miner's lamp for awhile after the light were turned off and my eyes finally got sleepy. Larry was already sawing logs but he said he didn't sleep.

Have all but 4 pew decorations to do for the March 6 wedding. Thirty days from today.

Must get started on the June, July, and October weddings. Then several have been talking to me about Prom flowers. PTL that there is business coming in.

Well been learning lessons from the Lord. Learning that He is in control. Learning that only the Lord can change things. Then when I pray for the Lord to work, I ashamedly am so amazed when He supplies something.

My friend is fighting for her life with throat cancer. Just diagnosed. They have taken two biopsies to see what kind of treatment will stop the spread of this very rare and aggressive cancer. Please remember Lynne in prayer.

Have a wonderful weekend in the Lord's House.
